Amazing Samsung MM-A800 Multimedia Phone

Ah, the things you see when you don't have your digital camera handy. One of the big attractions of cell phones with built-in cameras is that you can capture those spur of the moment photo opportunities to share with friends and family. They're great when all you want to do is send pictures from phone to phone. But wouldn't it be great to have camera phone pictures good enough to print?

Now you can. Samsung has introduced the first 2 Megapixel camera phone in the United States and you can have it when you order new Sprint PCS cellular service.

The reason that this new phone is called a multimedia phone rather than simply a camera phone is that the technology includes streaming multimedia so you can download and watch video on your phone and listen to MP3 music. You also get text messaging, polyphonic and MP3 ringtones, and games. It supports 3-D gaming.

The camera is both a still camera with an LED flash and a video capture / camcorder with capacity limited only by the amount of expandable memory installed. Pictures appear on the 240 x 320 pixel main color display. You can have picture Caller ID or even video playback ID.

An interesting extra feature is a built-in business card scanner with optical character recognition. This phone is almost a small computer. Considering the voice memos, calculator, calendar and alarm, this phone might just double as your digital assistant.

Note: These offers are subject to change without notice at any time. Don't be disappointed because you waited too long and missed out on the special pricing!
