Today eMusic's FREE Daily Download is "In Shock" by Kristin Hersh. From her album, "Learn to Sing Like a Star" this song would probably put Simon Cowell "in shock" if he heard it in an American Idol audition. Kristin's growly vocals and the intense arrangement have more bite than he's used to, except from himself of course. If your taste runs more to "Rockstar" though, this song would be perfect material. It reminds me of something that Dilana would have ripped the heck out of last summer.
