Cellular Service For $9.99 a Month

If you think that you have to spend $30 or more a month to have a cell phone, here's an eye opener. OPEX Wireless has a plan for you as low as $9.99 a month. What's more, you don't have to sign a contract or commit for two years. This is month to month service. You might even be able to use the cell phone you already have.

OPEX Wireless is offering a cellular service that is unique in the world of mobile wireless. Unlike the major cellular providers, there is no long term commitment. The credit check is also much easier to pass. But unlike the prepaid cellular providers, there is no need to have to find and redeem "airtime cards" to keep your service active.

With OPEX Wireless, you pay a monthly bill for your service, but you can quit whenever you like. That makes it a perfect choice for students, business people, world travelers and anyone else who is only going to be in a certain location for a short period of time, say a few months to a year. You'll need to return any phone you ordered with the service, but if you do that and let them know you want to quit you won't get socked with early termination fees. Try getting away with that at your local cell phone store or electronics retailer.

The $9.99 a month cellular plan is called the "OPEX Emergency 30." It's designed for people who need to only make mobile calls once in awhile but like the security of having a cell phone with them. It's also perfect for car emergencies so you don't get stuck in the middle of nowhere with no way to call for help. The Emergency 30 plan gives you 30 anytime minutes per month and free long distance calls from your wireless service area.

Want more minutes? Step up to the National 90 plan. For $19.99 a month you get 90 anytime minutes plus free long distance calls. It's similar to the Emergency Plan, but with 3 times the minutes for a little over twice the cost.

The next step up is the National 300 plan for $29.99 a month. You'll get 300 anytime minutes per month PLUS free night and weekend minutes and free long distance. At just under 10 cents per minute, this plan is very competitive with the best prepaid cellular service plans, and those other ones don't give you free nights and weekends. With OPEX Wireless you also get free voice mail, free caller ID, free call waiting, free 3-way conferencing, and free call forwarding.

The most comprehensive OPEX Wireless service plan is the National 600. For $39.99 a month you get 600 anytime minutes per month, free night and weekend minutes, free mobile to mobile minutes, and free long distance. Plus all the other free goodies mentioned in the National 300 plan. This plan offers the same features as many of the major cellular plans that require contracts, but you pay for this one on a month to month basis.

With your OPEX Wireless service plan, you can order the Nokia 2260 cell phone which has a retail value of $129.99. But right now you can get a $75 mail-in rebate to cut your cost after rebate to $55. Free car and home/travel chargers are included with this phone.

Do you already have a phone that was used with AT&T wireless service? If so, you may be able to use it with OPEX Wireless cellular service and not have to buy a new phone at all. There are a number of Nokia, Motorola, Ericcson, Mitsubishi, Panasonic and Sony Ericcson models that can be transferred.
