Indeed, Italian designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have catered to the fashion tastes of the rich and famous worldwide. But now you can sport a bit of Dolce & Gabbana even if that new movie deal doesn't come through for you right away. Your bit of the good life is the Motorola RAZR V3i Dolce & Gabbana w/MyFaves. It's THE cell phone to be seen with.

What oozes wealth more than gold? This razor phone has a gold toned aluminum shell with a complementary gold keyboard accented in silver trim. It's not solid gold, but that's a good thing. If it was, you'd be crushed by accidentally leaving it in a cab. Well, you probably will be anyway, so keep an eye on this beauty.

Beauty is more than skin deep on this Dolce & Gabbana RAZR. It's packed with all the latest technology you need to mix mobile business with pleasure. Like all other members of the Motorola RAZR family, this one has the famous 1/2 inch profile. It also has the upgraded digital camera that delivers 1.23 Megapixels of resolution to take print quality photos. The built-in MP3 music player has a removable memory card to store your songs. Note: You need to chose a service plan that offers MyFaves to get this feature.

Learn to Sing Like a Star

Today eMusic's FREE Daily Download is "In Shock" by Kristin Hersh. From her album, "Learn to Sing Like a Star" this song would probably put Simon Cowell "in shock" if he heard it in an American Idol audition. Kristin's growly vocals and the intense arrangement have more bite than he's used to, except from himself of course. If your taste runs more to "Rockstar" though, this song would be perfect material. It reminds me of something that Dilana would have ripped the heck out of last summer.

Call Bird's Home Broadband Service Finder

You'll find a new service at Call Bird, your guide through the telecom jungle. It's a handy home broadband service finder.

If you've been secretly wanting true high speed Internet service for your home or home office but have been afraid of high costs, the time may be right to switch. Broadband is now the Internet service for everyone. Even AOL, the pioneer of dial-up Internet, has abandoned dial-up as an obsolete technology. Why? Because broadband is more available and more competitively priced than ever.

What's available? There's DSL or Digital Subscriber Line that shares your main telephone line without interfering. You use your phone as normal. Your computer gets data from the Internet at the same time, without interrupting your conversations. That's totally different than dial-up which hogs the phone line. Cable Internet uses extra channels on Cable TV services to provide always-on broadband Internet service. You can usually get Cable Internet without having to subscribe to Cable TV, but the bundle price for both services is often a bargain. If you can't get either DSL or Cable at your location, such as in rural areas, Satellite Broadband is for you. It's a two-way system that uses a small dish on your roof to communicate with the "bird" hovering in the sky.

Most people have several options for broadband at their home location. Which one you pick is probably going to be based on cost and your particular service preference. What's available for you? Find out in less than a minute using Call Bird's Home Broadband Service Finder.

Feel the Tight Kashmere

eMusic's FREE Daily Download is titled "Zero Point - Pt. 1 & Pt. 2 (45 Version)" by the amazing Kashmere Stage Band. Back in the 1960's, the band master at Kashmere High School had a vision. He knew his students were good; could they put on a show worthy of national attention? Absolutely! Their stage presence, choreography and unbelievably tight playing blew away the competition in band competitions across the country. Between 1968 and 1978 they released 8 albums, with a changing crew of players. Remember, these are high school students. The band broke up as their band master, Conrad Johnson, neared retirement. But fans, collectors and DJs snapped up their records.

Stones Throw and Now-Again records are bringing back this amazing jazz / funk / r&b music for those who remember the Kashmere Stage Band, and they're introducing this great music to those of us who weren't fortunate enough to know the band the first time around. Grab today's download while you can. Want even more? Download, Play, Burn MP3s of the album "Texas Thunder Soul: 1968-1974" when you sign up for 25 free downloads from eMusic. This music is too good to pass up.

How Can Cable TV Keep Raising Their Rates?

It's incredible. Cable rates are still rising. What's worse, some of these cable systems are still using analog technologies that have crawling lines in the picture, distorted sound, ghosts and snow. How can they get away with this?

Easy. It's because people let them. Cable is a franchised operation in most areas. If you want to wire the town and provide cable TV, you need a license from the city. Not like a liquor license, mind you. This is a monopoly license. Once the cable is installed and the houses hooked up, the Cable TV company pretty much owns the TV connection to your home. Well, it does only if you let it.

No, you don't have to cut your cable and go back to a pitiful few over the air channels. You can have hundreds of clean, clear, great sounding television channels to chose from in a couple of days. Maybe even by tomorrow. How, by switching to Dish Network Satellite TV.

Maybe you're not so sure about satellite TV. It sounds complicated and expensive to have this dish put on your roof and those satellite receivers installed in your home. How well does it even work? The short answer is that it works great. It's proven, mature technology. You get a special remote control that takes the place of your normal TV control. just select the channel you want, adjust the volume and enjoy.

But what about the cost of all that equipment and its installation? What cost? You don't have to pay for any it. All you need to do is select the programming package you want from Dish Network and in nearly all cases equipment is free. Next day installation by a trained professional is also free to you.

What can you get for free? How about satellite TV in 1 to 4 rooms of your home? How about a digital video recorder that not only works like a VCR for recording shows, but can also pause and rewind live TV shows. How about free HDTV satellite receivers if you order an HDTV package?

OK, the equipment and installation are free, but isn't the programming expensive? How about the DishFAMILY package that gives you 40 channels, including sports, news, children's programming for $19.99 a month to 1 or 2 TVs? How about 60 channels for just $29.99 a month? For $39.99 a month you can double that to phenomenal 120 channels. And you're still putting up with cable? Why? Just take a few minutes and see what you can get with Dish Network.

Carnivore Salutes the Instituation

Simon Dawes' Carnivore album is a true flesh ripper. Crank it up and take nice bite out of your neighbor's eardrums. This music is LOUD. "Salute the Institution", eMusic's FREE Daily Download! for today, is cranked up. So be sure to set your volume a bit down before after you download it. At reasonable listening levels it's a decent rock and roll tune, albeit audio compressed to create that "power radio" sound.

I should also mention that this tune grows on you with repetition. Give it a chance and perhaps you'll get hungry to download the rest of Carnivore. You can download the additional tracks free when you Get 25 FREE Music Downloads with your trial subscription to eMusic. Prefer something else? There are well over a million tracks to choose from. They're all in MP3 format, compatible with iTunes, iPods, MP3 music players, MP3 CDs for your car, and even music cell phones.

LG enV is the Phone to Envy

What color is envy? Wrong. It's silver and black, the color of technology. At least for the LG enV, also known as the VX9900 for Verizon Wireless. The green glances of envy will come from your friends and colleagues when they see you with this hand-sized communications center. Closed, it's a candybar style cell phone. But flip it open and it looks just like a small computer, with a rectangular color screen over a full QWERTY keyboard. You'll be able to send text messages, IMs and emails with ease.

The enV is loaded with the latest in mobile multimedia technology. That includes an MP3 player that will also play WMA format files and download new songs from the VCAST music store over the air. You get stereo speakers and Bluetooth that will stream music to Bluetooth wireless stereo headsets. The gorgeous pictures you get from the 2 Megapixel digital camera are good enough to print. Plus you can turn your camera phone into a camcorder and make movies up to an hour long. Receive on- demand TV and music through the VCAST cellular broadband data network.
